Community Relations




The Public Relations Officer Captain Keith Houston is a certified Law Enforcement Officer and has over 30 years in Public Safety. He is commited to the responsiblility for crime prevention through citizen awareness, education, and public participation. He is tasked with organizing community programs such as home safety and auto theft prevention. He also teaches classes about bank robbery survival for bank employees, identity theft, and sets up displays at schools for career day events. He speaks with the community and educates them on home security and personal safety. The Public Relations officers specialize in neighborhood watch programs. They assist the community in setting up and starting this type of program. We hold child ID programs, which include fingerprinting and photographing children of all ages. Public Relation Officer Captain Keith Houston also promotes and develops standards for better understanding and unity between law enforcement and the community. He is available to speak to the public on a variety of topics.
